FIRE CENTER
ICONIC WALL
مركز الإطفاء — جدار الهوية
Safety, turned into
an experience.
The design transforms safety from a function into an experience, expressing readiness, protection and civic responsibility through calm, contemporary architecture. A single iconic wall becomes the face of the centre: a lit display of the firefighter, the helmet, the breathing apparatus and the extinguisher, framed in carved screens and set into a quiet reception hall.
Mohamed Bider led the project for IMOTEP: the site survey, the concept, the three design options and their visualisation, the material selections, and the full set of technical drawings — architecture, lighting and power, CCTV and fire alarm, and HVAC.

The full V01 set issued in January 2026: furniture, finishes and flooring, ceiling and door details, the 1:12 section through the iconic wall, and the lighting and power, CCTV and fire alarm, and HVAC plans. Select a sheet.
Materials.
Art Crete paint on walls and ceiling, stone-look floor tiles, MDF and warm timber for the display joinery, and stone wall cladding in Option 3.
Three options
for one wall.
Option 1 sets the display in a dark timber and charcoal frame. Option 2 softens the room into sculpted niches in warm plaster. Option 3 brings in stone cladding and warm timber for a richer welcome. A fourth, darker scheme explores concrete and graphite.
